Hi, I'm Julius Ferrer and I've been shooting weddings since 2002, but I've loved videography since 1991 during my 8th grade year.  My English Teacher decided to get a grant for an afterschool video class to which I was one of its first participants.  I loved every minute of it!  I also "stole" my dad's camcorder quite frequently to film a variety of shots from home life, to breakdancing, and street racing (as I grew older). 

I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego and I also have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, so as a 3rd grade teacher I would film weddings on the weekends as a supplemental income (all by word-of-mouth, of course!). I remember for the first time a friend asking me in 2002 to shoot their wedding on a tiny camcorder and just getting hooked!  To this day, I still enjoy the capture of a wedding day from beginning to end.  I enjoy the post-production editing work that follows afterwards; producing a film in a thorough and creative way for my happy couples is just so satisfying!  In addition, I took up photography in 2005 when I picked up my first DSLR, so I've been enjoying that medium as well..

I've produced over 350 wedding films to date and produce commercial work throughout the year for small businesses throughout New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut.  I've been a full-time freelance videographer and portrait photographer now for over 6 years.  

Lastly, I've been happily married for 21 years and have two beautiful children, Ava (11) and Aidan (8). I am also actively serving in my church as a video editor/producer for its Sunday Services and other needs that apply.  

We reside near Madison, Connecticut and I travel all throughout the Northeast filming weddings as far south as Baltimore, Maryland and as far north as Portland, Maine.  I look forward to working with any of you who have come to my site and are considering hiring me for your video project or wedding day.
